The 2018 Winter Jazz Fest has an impressive line-up and presents jazz’s leading voices as well as emerging talents. There’s no substitute for live music. Founded in 1986, the purpose of San Jose Jazz is to enhance the recognized value of arts to the individual and society, to use music and events to bring people together and to help build a stronger, more vibrant community. In 1987 San Jose Jazz produced its first Winter Jazz Series; in 1990 it produced its first jazz fest; and in 1993 it produced its first youth education program. San Jose Jazz is a dynamic, region-wide organization presenting over 160 events annually.
