San Jose Spirit of ‘45 Day: AUG 4 & 5

Honor the “Greatest Generation” and have a good time too at the San Jose Spirit of ‘45 Day celebration at History Park. In 2010, Congress unanimously voted in favor of a national “Spirit of ’45 Day” to preserve and honor the legacy of the men and women of the World War II generation so that their example of national unity, shared sacrifice, can do attitude, and service to their community and country continues to inspire future generations of Americans. On August 4 from 7-10pm, enjoy a 1940s swing dance party at History Park. On August 5 from noon until 5:00 pm, enjoy 1940s music, fashion show, victory parade, military cars, interactive display, kids area and more!
