Enjoy the best of Japanese culture right here in San Jose at The Nikkei Matsuri Festival in Japantown downtown. The Food Court is phenomemal with traditional Japanese food as well as non-traditional food. The food is prepared on site and served by local Japanese American non-profit organizations. Of course what festival in San Jose would be without amazing art?! Delight in over sixty arts and crafts vendors selling handmade Japanese of clothing, ceramics, pottery and gifts. The indoor stage features Japanese culture through music (koto, shakuhachi), martial arts, and dance (Bando and Hanayagi styles).
