Enjoy a holiday classic close to home. The Nutcracker is a time-honored Christmas ballet about children on Christmas eve when their toys come magically to life. Symphony Silicon Valley presents the Ballet Stars of Moscow Company direct from Russia, featuring ballet stars Oksana Bondareva and Andrei Bolotin in THE NUTCRACKER. The tradition of professional ballet in San Jose continues, with Tchaikovsky’s magnificent music performed by Symphony Silicon Valley conducted by Maestro George Daugherty. Symphony Silicon Valley puts on incredible shows throughout the year. Founded in 2002, Symphony Silicon Valley has progressed from daring idea to exciting reality, rapidly becoming the greater South Bay’s premiere orchestra and a notable community success story. The California Theatre is home to the SVS. It’s a beautiful venue founded in 1927.
